My husband completed the outdoor stage that we received funds through a QRIS grant. He did an awesome job and the kids are going to love it!!!
There are so many ways they can use this stage:
dramatic play such as creating a restaurant, a flower shop, grocery store, etc..
music & movement (dance ribbons, musical instruments)
writing center (desk or table with crayons, markers, paper, dry erase boards, chalk boards etc.)
language & literacy (puppets, flannel board stories)
art center (easel, various art supplies)
Block center (cardboard brick blocks, unit blocks waffle blocks, Legos, Lincoln logs)
Science/Nature Center (bug nets, ladybugs, ants, rain gauges, magnifying glasses, growing flowers along the side)
Reading center (bean bag chairs w/basket of books
The ideas are unlimited!!!
I have posted a picture below. It will eventually have a shade over it as the weather warms up.
